17TH ANNUAL SURFING DAY GOES OFF AT APOLLO BAY

The 17th Annual Rip Curl Girls Go Surfing Day went off at over 60 beaches around Australia.

The Apollo Bay event was great fun, and it was fantastic to see so many familiar faces, as well as a few new ones!
All proceeds this year was given to the Apollo Bay kindergarten, which has a big fundraising year ahead.
Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped to make the day such a success, including the Apollo Bay P12 College, and the Apollo Bay Board Riders Club.
Also many thanks to ‘Rip Curl’ who donated some great prizes.

Apollo Bay Surf & Kayak are proud to announce that they have recently joined Surfing Victoria,
As a result we were able to host Apollo Bay’s First Roxy Surf Jam.

Thousands of girls of all ages have benefited from the Surf Jam days - it’s all about progression, education, and having fun!

Roxy's professional surfers and coaches, and Apollo Bay Surf & Kayak s instructors had great fun teaching the girls the important aspects of surfing, the ocean, and general water safety.

The weather was good and the waves were going off on Apollo Bay’s awesome foreshore.
All the girls received show bags full of great Roxy goodies, including hot Roxy singlet.
